Meet the Team
Marion
Retail Café Assistant, Franki’s – Library Café
Marion has been part of the St Andrews catering family for just over two years, and in that time, she’s become a familiar and friendly face for many students and staff stopping by Franki’s.
Her favourite part of the job? “Getting to know the students and staff, and helping to make their day a bit brighter.”
When she’s not behind the counter crafting the perfect Oat Flat White – “just enough coffee, not too much milk” – she’s recommending her favourite dish: the Tanpopo Vegan Gyoza. “They’re absolutely delicious!”
Marion’s top tip? “Get to know your café server by name, and ask what offers are on – you might be surprised what’s available!”

Romy
Events Operations and Retail Administrator, Andrew Melville Hall
Romy has been a key part of the University’s catering team for three and a half years, working behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Her role is all about the details – supporting our cafés and retail outlets day-to-day so they can do what they do best: serve great food and warm hospitality. “I love the variety in my work, and knowing that I’m helping the cafés operate efficiently.”
When it comes to lunch, Romy knows exactly what she’s after: the Arrabiata Meatball Panini – packed with flavour and a definite favourite.
