Discover food and drink across campus

We believe food & drink brings people together

Whether it’s a group of first years enjoying a fry-up the morning after freshers; two colleagues sharing ideas over a latte; or a team of undergrads cramming for an exam while fuelling up on a nutritious dinner, the catering team has worked hard to care for and bring together these communities.

Sustainability at every step of the way…

At the University of St Andrews, we consider the food you eat with a fresh perspective. We’re committed to sustainable food policy and practice across all of our catering services and retail outlets, to ensure that everyone can access fresh local and seasonal produce during their time with us.

  • We source many of our ingredients from artisan, local, and sustainable producers, based around Fife and across Scotland.

  • We use renewable energy across several aspects of our catering services, to help reduce our carbon emissions.

  • We work as closely to a zero-waste policy as possible and encourage our students and staff to do the same.
